Deliverables

Collect comprehensive data on each case so as to identify systemic challenges and develop interventions accordingly.

Victim advocate assigned to each case reported to TVEP, to ensure individualised rights based guidance and paralegal support.

Court-based monitors and/or chaperones to expedite protection orders and maintenance claims at Thohoyandou magistrate court

Monitor court proceedings and prepare witnesses for trial.

Ensure coordination between role players so as to maximise efficacy and efficiency within the CJS.

Strengthen existing and establish new strategic partnerships governed by service level agreements.  

Ensure the provision of child friendly facilities and chaperone services for children and vulnerable clients at court

Conduct home visits as and when required & follow-up on referrals

Efficiently and effectively respond to incidents of malpractice

Lobby for the use of the dog unit in tracking rape perpetrators.

Lobby for the effective collection and use of forensic evidence.

Establish strategic partnership with the parole Board to ensure appropriate  participation by the complainant
