A TVEP Case Manager advocates against human rights violations on behalf of all the victims of Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence that report to TVEP Offices, Trauma Centres and Clinic Help Desks.

Legal Officers and Court Chaperons

A TVEP legal officer is allocated to every case of rape or domestic violence that is opened at one of our Trauma Centres. Their task is to keep a watchful eye on the progress of SAPS investigations and court Proceedings, to ensure that clients are well informed and prepared for court, ensure that their emotional needs are being met effectively and ensure that the minimum standard in rendering services to victims is adhered to. Court Chaperones look after witnesses at the Sexual Offences & Community Affairs (SOCA) Court, and generally assist our clients through the court process.
